How to increase WP Memory Limit

Increase allowed memory size

The default memory limit for WordPress is 32 MB. It is very common to exceed this limit and get the error Fatal error: Allowed memory size. The fatal error message looks similar to this one:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 23556632 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3349917 bytes)...

The solution for this error is just to log in into your FTP account, and edit wp-config.php file and add this line before the line just before that says ‘That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging.’

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

Here is an example:

Once you are done, you need to save your changes and upload your wp-config.php file back to your server.
